Shedding problem

I got my adult gecko a couple of weeks ago from a local pet shop (not sure on age) and at the time he had some shed on his back. Well he has never really stop shedding since and after two baths and a moist hide to help, he is still having problems. If someone could tell me how long it should take to lose the skin once it's grey all over and if there is anything else I could do to help him that would be great.

The only part of a gecko, for me, that has had trouble shedding is the toes. I've dabbed a little olive oil on a q-tip and it seemed to help. Keep a warm, moist hide available at all times. My geckos normally shed within a day of turning gray.

ok thanks i could try the olive oil. I wasn't sure if it could be down to lack of vitamins or calcium although he looked so healthy in the shop and still does now but only time will tell if his shedding improves under my care.
