As for four days ago, my leopard gecko, Vastervik, started graying out so I assume he would be shedding soon.
How long does shedding usually take? I'm new with leos but with my crestie I always find the shedding to be done and over within one night. Vastervik doesn't look like he's even close to tearing the old skin off and it's been four days. He's being off-feed since graying out but he's thankfully at a hefty 90g so I'm not worried about that aspect for now.
He has a humidity hide but only using it on brief occasions even though he looks so close to shedding.
My vet recommended soaking Vastervik to help the process along but I'm not sure if I should do that at this point in time. Also if do have to soak him, how do exactly do that?
Advise? Suggestion? Opinion?
