When you notice that she is getting close to shedding (pale/white skin color) make sure her wet hide is freshly moistened and possibly soak her in shallow, warm water for a few minutes. It should be only deep enough to have her feet submerged and you MUST supervise her while she is soaking. The soak should soften up the skin on her feet to prepare her for the shed.

Speaking of shedding, my gecko is shedding right now, but never goes in her humid hide. She's not getting very much off and has been napping with her shed still on all day. Would misting her with water help?

Do you think I should give her some more time to do it herself? I noticed her white skin last night and she started to actually sometime during the night.
