Ok I have a question about shedding for a crested. Iv had my little guy for about a month now. I have not noticed him shed at all yet. I don't handle him everyday but close to every other day maybe 2 days inbetween. I have noticed that joker has got bigger though he has gained atleast an inch or so. Cuz he possible shed in a matter of 2 or 3 days?

Have you noticed his colors to dull out, or skin to white out or turn pale? Good possibility that you just have not seen it happen, but if you have had him for a month now, I think he should have shed (especially with the growth you stated). I wouldn't see it to be a problem or worry if you havn't seen him shed... it doesn't take long for it to happen. Both my Uroplatus and Rhacs shed pretty quickly, I notice them being pale and that night they shed... sometimes there is a little shed skin in the cage, and sometimes not. But I don't think its too much to be alarmed over... as long as he is growing, he is shedding... :)

The pale that I am talking about looks hazey. Not just dull in color, but you can see his overall appearnce get chalky...

In that photo.. look at the back of the head where he still has his skin that hasn't shed, and look at his snout, you can see the difference. If the humidity and temps are right, you shouldn't see anything left on him... and he will eat it :)

To be honest I consider it lucky to find my cresties shedding, especially the younger ones - they can do it so fast I usually don't notice, and I tend to hold each of them a bit each day. They're pretty sneaky about it.

My 3yr old male I notice all the time though, because he looks ready to shed for pretty much the whole day before he works it off at night.

I wouldn't worry too much - I'll bet your crestie has shed at least once by now, maybe even twice if he has grown that much.
