We got Crimson from pet*o last year. She was a sub-adult then. She's gained tons since we got her. The pics aren't the best, but she doesn't like to stay still much. She blushes red, but it always shows up orange in the pics.:main_rolleyes:

Thank you! I just can't get over how chubby she is. We knew she was growing, but she was hiding out for awhile. About a month ago, she came out of hiding more and she grew a ton! I'll have to weigh her soon. No wonder she's been turning down the roaches and only eating small amounts of cgd!

We weighed Crimson last night. She is 63 grams! I knew she was looking chubby! She doesn't come out often. I think getting her from a store when she was older affected her. She doesn't like to be held at all. We still try though. She's just so different from our other younger cresteds.

interesting though I got a older gecko from ***** he was 28g when I got him and hes turned out to be the sweetest most mellow boy. I almost think hes just happy to out of there and with me
then I have a boy thats been with me since he was 4g hes now 22g and just does not like to be held ever.

Kristi do you know how old she was when you got her from the petstore cause i got one last night and i have a bad feeling that he does not like to be handled and he is around 5 months....? Im have not yet tried to handle him i figure ill wait about 5 days... i just hope that he will turn into a sweet guy

I think she was probably close to a year old, maybe just a little less. She bit me the first day we brought her home, but she settled down after. She's okay with us, but she just prefers to stay in her cage. I'm sure if you start handling yours for even 5 minutes a day, he'll calm down for you. At least I hope he will. She's the only one we've bought that wasn't really small/young so far.

Ok thanks for the info. Yeah last night when i brought it home it bite me when i placed it into its enclosure but it seems alot calmer today So we will see

Good luck with him! Even though we can't handle Crimson much, I definitely don't regret getting her.
