Shipping eggs

renowned herpetologist Raymond Ditmars wrote in his book Reptiles of North America that many times people would send him eggs of this or that reptile and occasionally they would actually hatch.

i have no personal experience with shipping eggs and wouldn't really recommend it.

i personally wouldn't chance it. temperature fluctuations would cause issues as well as the box being tossed around. i don't think you would get anyone to buy them either because there is a chance that even a fertile egg will not hatch or the baby will not survive out of the egg.

i agree its to risky. for me the tempature is the minor worry..

my last shipment of leos was not handled very carefully even though on all 4 sides it had arrows up and perishable.. the fedex guy handed it to me upside down..

he got an ear full...
