Being that the shipping section has been getting a little action lately, I thought I'd post this.

Can anyone tell me what the guidelines/rules/restrictions or differences...good and bad.....are for shipping geckos through UPS, Fedex and SYR?

Have any rules changed recently? Do you have to be a "Certified Fedex shipper" to ship geckos, or is it just for snakes?

Any info on UPS especially would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot ship snakes with UPS.

SYR allows you to use fed-ex without being certified. You can ship snakes with them.

I have an account with UPS, but I like to use SYR. They are also offering insurance on shipments thru them.

So basically, if you want to ship geckos through fedex, you use SYR unless you want to be a certified shipper.

You can ship geckos through UPS, but you need an account and you don't need to be certified?
