No, really, I should have. My friend has been in love with leos since she was little. She met my leo and likes him. She did her homework on leos and got her parents in on the idea. I con her into driving me to the reptile show in the fall, curse not having a car, and of course we walk out with a leo, 20gallon long, uth, vitamins, ca, cricket keeper, etc etc :main_thumbsup:. Its a real cute little gecko too, SHTCTB female with a great personality.
Now I'm certain everyone remembers their first leo, heck even their fist reptile. You feed it, you love it, you call it George p ha ha), and you freak out whenver it does something new or unexpected. I nearly had a heart attack the first time I saw my boy pre-shed even though I knew what to expect, ie ghostly white. And if I had a real issue I posted to geckoforums!
I got a text last night...at 2 am...Now honestly it was a good question, but darnit I'm not psychic! I'd need to see the behavior or get a description longer than can fit in a text to even guess at whats wrong, and add to that I'm not a veterinarian (yet)! Why oh why couldn't she have gone to geckoforums! At least when someone posts to geckoforums it doesn't go beep-beep-beep and wake you from a restful slumber! And on geckoforums there are people with years more experience to help out! I even gave her the website name and told her to get an account before she got her gecko. So just to confirm my hypothesis, its prefectly normal for a 6inch leo to not be hungry for one night. Mind you, the other question seemed to be something neurological and my recommendation was keep an eye on it because I don't know what the exact described behavior was since it was in abridged text form! Also shortly after purchasing the gecko I was summoned to her place to be the there's-no-stuck-shed-double-check-er.
I fully realize the irony of posting a pro-geckoforums rant on geckoforums.
