I have been doing well so far this season. I have an albino that has only ever had one egg hatch out of a two egg clutch. Both eggs grow more than eggs from my other leos. The infertile egg will stay good looking and after about a week after one hatches, I will pip the other and............. nothing, but white mucas. Should I introduce her to the male again? Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks, Mike

If she is ovulating, go ahead and re-introduce the male to her. Actually, this is not uncommon for first-timers.

As a matter of fact, I had a lovely little patty hatch 4 days ago and her sister still had not come out yet, and the egg looked big and pump. I candled the egg and saw a dark area, and decided to go ahead and 'pip' the egg. Guess what? Nothing but greenish goo came out.

I don't know why some eggs go the entire incubation time, grow in size, and have nothing in them!
