Should I rehome my Geckos?

I feel bad, I almost NEVER hold them or play with them, I'll talk to them and occasionally pick them up, but not for long. Obviously I do feed them, haha. Do they get stressed or sad when they're not given attention? They're in a two-story 75 gallon tank.

i don't really hold mine, i like to watch them and see their pretty colors. I especially like feeding them, watching them hunt the crickets. I find that most of them don't like to be held. As long as you are caring for them (feeding and cleaning) I say keep them.

Same as the others said. I go to my dogs, cats, wife and kids if I expect a return of affection. The birds, fish, lizards and turtles (in their cool habitats) are just cool to have around and look at. I enjoy feeding them and showing them off to company. The only time I handle them a bit is to clean the cage or to take their pictures. If you are keeping them alive and healthy, you are probably doing a better job than someone else would if you rehome them. :) Bob

My geckos are sort of like a hobby. This is why many people have YouTube videos of their "gecko collection". Collection might sound like a cruel word but it is what it is and it's ok as long as you are not compromising the care for each gecko by having many. I just like making videos about my geckos and showing them to people and going to reptile shows. But I hardly ever hold them when I'm not doing something in ther cage

Thats one reason I have Rio and plan to get another next year. There so easy to keep happy don't need a high amount of handling acherly Rio hates being handled. Easy to clean only have to change the toliet paper.

For someone like me who love animals but have some disability that makes large scale cleaning hard there perfect.

NO don't get rid of them Jamie. I wont repeat what every one else has said as im sure you've read them all. Mine hate being handled, I have a two story viv for mine, just like you! :) I just love to watch them climbing around and "playing" lol. some times ill be watching TV then before you know it you've missed half the film because your to busy watching what their up to.
I think that for as long as your able to afford to feed them and that you can clean and care for them properly you should keep them. beside a whole new home and owner is very stressful on the poor little things :(
