Should I still feed today?

Hi, I was just wondering if I should still feed Sonny today because he hasn't pooped since yesterday. I've had him for almost a week now, and he's pooped everyday so far. I've been feeding him mini mealworms, but decided to get small mealworms which are a tad bit bigger. I started feeding him the bigger ones yesterday, and he hasn't pooped yet today. I really hope he didn't get impacted :/ I tried finding the recently pupated ones, and there were a couple. I fed him one recently pupated mealworm a few minutes ago to see if he even wanted to eat, and he ate it. He went back in his hide, then came back out sniffing the floor for more. I noticed his body is more white today, so I'm guessing he's ready to shed. But, I don't think shedding is the reason why he didn't poop today. I'm worried about him getting impacted from the mealworm exoskeletons, but I don't want him to starve or anything. So should I feed or no? He's still very young, from Petco, and is about 4-4.5 inches in length and hasn't really developed any spots yet.

I doubt he's impacted, remember larger food is going to take a little longer to digest, and don't be ssurprised if they don't poo every feeding. A Fter all poo is the waste product of eating, and if he hasn't poo'd then imo that just means he's using what he's taking in with little waste. Eros doesn't poo ever time I feed him either, he will poo the day after, 2 days after, there really is no set schedule with him. I would feed him. Try a reduced meal if you're worried about him becoming constipated from the change of food, which really isn't even a change so much as a larger item of the same food so I think you should be fine. If you're too worried about it you can dab just a little (repeat JUST a little) mineral oil on his nose to keep the tracks well greased.

You're just worrying too much :p If he doesn't poop for a week plus, then we can start worrying. A day, gesh you're working yourself up!

Just keep feeding him, he'll be fine. I can't help you with the pupated ones as I never feed those, but I 'believe' I read feeding them is ok.

Feeding the "aliens" to your gecko won't hurt him. I use to give them to Eros all the time without ill effect.
