Show off your rack systems!

I'm looking inot purchasing a 2.5 SHTCTB's and 2.5 snows/super snows. I'm planning on building a rack system for all 14, my current pair of geckos, and for the future hatchings! (yes, i know, don't count your geckos before they hatch ). I have never built a rack before, so I'd like people to offer their advice and/or pictures and descriptions of there rack systems (i'm all for seeing the geckos in the racks as well ).

Try melamine faced contiboard, easily measured and cut, and easily put together, the heatpads can beplaced and the rack fits where you have room, you effectively cut to size! Im in the process of building one at the moment, i built my home made vivs out of the stuff its great if you dont mind a few chipped edges here and there. :main_thumbsup:

I'll be honest, I bought a RhinoRaxx from boaphile plastics, and this thing is killer... pre-setup with heat tape, ready to plug into a Tstat, took less than 1 hour to take out of the box and set up.

Were can I get melamine-faced conti-board? FOOlsgOld, how stable is that? I would consider something like that, It just looks like the whole thing is going to fall over!
Can someone give me a quick lesson as to heating via heat tape?

You can get melamine faced contiboard from most diy stores, if you have something like a B&Q in america you will most likely to find it there, builders yards.

some of my melemine ones..wow look at that, in april i wasnt completely full of geckos...i now have all racks full with another ontop of this one lol

I'll have to try and snap a pic of ours.
Though, ours has lots of room on it right now until our hatchlings need to be put into bigger enclosures.
So for now, I have super worms on one shelf, and empty enclosures on the bottom.
Not the neatest looking of things.
