Nigel is right, I did this cross and have six hatchlings so far. I crossed a sunglow male to two different SHTCTBs. Of the six offspring so far I have Two very dark looking babies two very average looking babies, and due to one of the SHTCTBs being het albino I have two that are albinos. It will be interesting to see what they look like as they grow up.

You'll get a mix of hypo tangerines & super hypo tangerines.Id imagine you'll see the baldy trait on some if not all and also the carrottail trait. All offspring will be 100% HET albino.

I think you would get a washed out SHTCT het sunglow. Just because you have a Baldy or both parents are Baldy does not guarantee all your hatchlings will be Baldy.

I don't fully agree with this one.

First off all there is the discussion of what you call a sunglow.

1) If the sunglow is a superhypo tangerine carrottail baldy albino and you breed it with a non-albino shtctb then your offspring should be shtctb 100% het albino.

2) your 'sunglow' has a pattern (markigns on the body or head) then your offspring wil indeed be a mix but all 100% het albino.

The confusion starts when you define sunglow.

I prefer the following definitions:

hybino: albino with yellow base colour with reduced markings on body (hypo-factor) and head
superhybino: albino with yellow base colour without markings on body (hypo factor) but still markings on the head
tangerine hybino = hybino but orange base colour instead of yellow
tangerine superhybino = superhybino but orange base colour instead of yellow
sunglow = albino with orange base colour (tangerine) without markings on body or head (shtctb) so in fact a shtctb albino
