I bought a pair of SHTCT, male is possibly not a "super hypo" He has a little spot on his back, which would make him just a hypo tangerine carrot tail? Or just a Tangerine carrot tail? Here are pics of him...

Also this is the cage I have for the two, is it good enough? Should I make any modifications?

Also this is my new baby...

I wouls still consider hima Super Hypo, 3 spots are not that of an offset for me though it may be for others. Both with about 10% carrot tail.

The other leo does look to be normal.

My only question is your tank size ffor the pair and for the baby, what size are they, they look a little small to me to provide a good heat gradient but it may be the pics.

I have the baby in a sterilite container, it is a 16 qt. The pair is in a 20g. I may be moving them, plus another female into a 30 gallon, but I am waiting, I also have my other pair in a similar set up, but it is a 66 qt sterilite container. They all of UTH, and the two bigger ones also have heat lamps, the baby doesn't.

New to this, but ITA with the previous poster - super hypo. :)

By the way, I was just about to post this same question about my baby tang, whether or not he was going to continue to be a super hypo tang or not. Great minds think a like!

I was wondering, how old does a baby gecko have to be before you can tell the sex? I know how to tell the sex, but how big does the baby have to be, also is there a way of guessing the age of leopard geckos? I have NO IDEA how old my albino pair, and my baby is.

Thanks
