Ok so my new shtctb's tail is starting to turn bright green at the top. She shed the first day I got her and had since shed again and the top of her tail is turning very bright green. I know that there is some morphs that include green on the back but the tail? Could this be part of her genes? Let me know asap trying to get pictures

well i talked to the guy at predators reptile center here is in phoenix AZ who happens to be a very well known for leopard geckos and the olny justification that he can seem to give me is that she has emerine in her and for some reason she is showing traits of it only in her tail but every emerine that i have ever seen was only green on its back not on its tail

its not the banding its the tail did you look at the picture that is not from fading that is clearly pronounced. and with each shed its getting brighter and brighter and more and more is showing up. its also starting to show very faint on her back

She doesn't have to have emerine to show green, there are many different line of tangerine with green hints. Sometimes it just pops up. I have a couple geckos with green on their carrot tail, emerine and different tang lines. Nothing unusual.

I have a SHTCT who as a babe had lots of green tint to her. Now a bit older shes lost some of it. there is no emerine in her. Mom was a SHTCT ph tremper and the father a "giant" tremper albino. To my understanding the only way to classify it as emerine is to have the genetics in it. Just like with the giant gene.
