I used to have 13 leopard geckos. I bought them all last year, and had them until December. I had them taken away, then given to someone that I didn't know, and I didn't even know their name. I just got a chance to get them back a few weeks ago, and I just got them today. Some have stuck skin, some have what looks like an abscess from my reptiles magazine, some have bad malnutrition, and at least one is gravid, very close to laying eggs.
The last owner kept them in groups, in naturalistic terrariums. I do not know anything about what their cages were like.
I will post some pictures when I get a chance to take some. Most of them were babies or juveniles when I had them last year, and the first thing I get to see after getting them back is how sick they look.
What are the best things to do for a sick gecko? 2 of them look like they have 'stick tail', but I don't know if they do. They all look very thin.
Thanks,
David

I didn't give them away. My dad took them. I wasn't even there. He gave them to some person that breeds reptiles, but wouldn't tell me who. My mom told me a few weeks ago and said we could try to get them back.
I gave them some panacur/safeguard with fenbendazole. I just have them in their empty bins right now. I have to go clean them. Most of them ate at least a little. The person I gave them to said they weren't eating. I put some superworms near them and some of them ate, but the worst ones didn't eat, or not as much.

make sure you put the sick looking one in a tank by herself just incase she was being bullied and caused her not to eat.
So what is it that you need help with?

I usually keep them separate, but the last people didn't. How do you know the difference between a gecko with stick tail (the kind you can't cure), and one that is just thin?

you don't know until you take them to the vet and get tests. she might need antibiotics or another kind of dewormer. she might be just really stressed that's why I said to make sure she is alone. But it's sound like she is in bad shape and realy needs to see a vet right away.

Ok, I'll try to find a vet.

I think it's good that you have tried to make things right by them.
Don't blame yourself for the actions of others, just do the best you can now.

Can you get any pics up so we can see what shape they're in?
Don't stress them anymore than they've been, though.

Good luck!
