Sick little guy

I got an albino leopard about a month ago, and about 3 days ago, i noticed that he had a small red nub hanging from his vent. I took a closer look at the rest of his body, and his stomache is a dark blue color, looks like bruising. I mixed up some warm water and sugar, and have been giving him warm sugar baths, and applying prepearation h and bacitracin on his vent. The vent is looking a little better now, but yesterday he developed what looked like a small tumor just above his hind leg. Last night he passed a ball of calcium(only thing i could guess it was) that was pretty large, and looked painful. He would not give up on passing it though. The tumor like spot has gone away, but his stomache is still very blue. Can anyone help me?

Passed Calcium? Most likely urates.

Is this a young male or adult? Have you tried to breed him recently?

Constipations, parasites, and over doing it during breeding can all cause a prolapse. I also advise seeking the help of a herp vet.

If you can post pics here.

He is a young male. This afternoon, my girlfriend told me he was trying to pass some sand, so she helped him a little and a small amount came out. After this, he bit her hand, so he seems to be very strong and energetic. His stomache looks a little better, and the prolapse has found its way back to normal. Because of my current situation, I am unable to bring him to a vet, which saddens me dearly. I am in college right now, with no income, therefore no money. A vet visit here is 40 dollars just for the vet to take a look. I feel so bad because I want to give him all the help I can, but I have no money. Can anyone help with how to ease an impaction? I will try to post pics later tonite. Thank you so much

Glad the prolapse went back in for you, just keep and eye on that in case you need to do more soaks to help him out again.

For the sand passing you can try a few drops of mineral oil (about $2) and that should help some. Give him a 2-3 drops on the nose and he will lick it off (or in the mouth if youcan get him to open it) and give it to him 2 - 3 times a day.

And get him off the sand, paper towels are better, tile is cheap and can give the look of sand if you want to get a nicer look and still not have sand issues.

I agree. Get the little guy off the sand... his problem could be intestinal impaction wich can cause cloacal prolapse from straining to pass it.

He is now doing very well, the prolapse is 100% better, he passed a large amount of sand this morning, and his belly looks much better. Thanks for the help

I hate to be rude but if you can't afford to help a sick animal then you shouldn't own it.

In the mean time I agree with what everyone else said, get it off the sand asap or the problem is going to repeat itself.
