would walking on what looks like their elbow be a possible sign? update it seems to walk with his foot turned inward and not straight. and if so how easy is it to treat MBD? or what are the signs of a broken bone?

pics would help a great deal... All I can really say is that it should be taken to a vet , make sure it getting its calcium. I have seen cases where MBD was stopped from progressing but always with adequate vet care.

I'm pretty sure that walking on its elbows is usually a sign on MBD. Sometimes their bones will curve as well and make them walk funny. Or their toes curve the wrong direction. I've heard that there can be problems with the jaw becoming deformed as well, but I have never seen this happen.

This shows how the geckos legs can curve and how my gecko walks on her elbows. Is that what it looks like with yours?

I have a gecko with MBD and she was treated with liquid calcium given to me by my vet that I would squirt into her mouth twice a day. Then after that, you just have to make sure the leo gets enough calcium with feedings. The deformed legs are permanent, but the bones will get stronger with the calcium, so depending on the progression of the MBD, the gecko can live a normal life.

I would definitely agree with GeckoGurl about going to see a vet. You will need that liquid calcium to help the MBD stop progressing.
