I just thought I'd let anyone who is having a problem with their new gecko eating know about my experience. I bought a new gecko almost a month ago and she wouldn't touch mealworns or crickets and was losing weight while starting to lay eggs this week. I tried a large silkworm out of pure luck they had them at a local shop and she devoured it...and then another! I'm very happy and she seems to have a full belly. It's worth a try if you can find them. Cheers!

I think silkworms are good for your pet, just expensive to maintain if you don't have access to fresh mulberry leaves (and LOTS of them). But I suppose you can't really put a price on having a healthy, happy gecko. Here's a link on nutritional info on some of the more common feeders http://www.silkwormshop.com/benefits.html. Hope this helps
