Silkworms/Mealworms/Pheonix Worms/Butterworms?

Pretty much, I'm a bug newb. I've always just feed my Water Dragon Superworms and crickets and haven't really tried experimenting much. Now that I have the Leopard Gecko, I'm on the search for bugs that I can feed to both the CWD and the Gecko. I don't know much about Butterworms so I figured I'd add that in but between Silkworms, Mealworms, and Pheonix Worms, which is nutritionally better and which will be best for both of the lizards?

Thanks! :D

I remember seeing a comparison of worms + crickets somewhere online.. it compared fat, calcium, and a few other important nutrients in the feeders. Pheonix worms are apparently very high in calcium and not as high in fat as mealies, so they can easily be used as a staple diet. Mealies are probably the most common feeder for leos (crickets are always very common). As for silkworms, I don't know too much about them, but I do remember reading that butterworms shouldn't be used as a staple diet as they have a lot of fat in them.

Mind you, I don't know squat about water dragons.

EDIT:
There we go. Looks like I was a bit off on some things.
Wow, silkworms look great. Thanks, LizMarie!

I could very well be wrong, but I thought it was waxies that shouldn't be used as a staple because they were very fattening, and butters were very healthy. I don't use either as a staple, but that's what I THINK I've always read.

Don't use butters. There is another thread on them explaining why.

If you go to mulberryfarms. com there is a chart on the phoenix worm page that gives the benefits and nutritional value of different feeders.
