Similar breeding weights.

Do the male & female have to be similar weights to breed? Example, my male is 80 grams & my females are in the 40's. By the time they are over 50 grams he will be in the mid 80's. Is he too big for them? Should i get a smaller male & save the bigger one for next year?

I have bred a 108 gram male to a 66 gram female without any issues.
