Well my car sucks in the snow, so I had my mother pick up some medium supers at the store since my order from online didn't get shipped yet and I'm out, and she happened to get the large, 2 inch supers.. XD Leila's head is still small since she's still in her adolescence, so I feel like there's going to be a problem here, aha.

I did drop them in front of her since she was starving (when I went to replace her water, she was watching my hand intently hoping I'd drop some food), and she ate two, and quietly refused the third. :main_rolleyes:

Since she's able to eat, should I just let her go for it? XD Is there really a problem if she's eating them because of their size, even if she's fully capable of swallowing it?

If not, I'll be able to drive there tomorrow and pick up the smaller ones.

The general rule of thumb for feeders is to make sure the circumference of the feeder is no bigger around than the space between your leo's eyes. If she has already eaten a couple with out difficulty then I think you should be ok. Just feed them slowly, make sure she has them fully down and wait a few seconds after that to offer the next feeder. My 11 mos old leo usually only eats 1-3 supers per feeding as well, so that's a good amount for her to eat. He also quietly walks away when he's done eating too. It's nice when they let you know they're full. Saves me from wasting another super by dusting it :D

It's not larger than the space between her eyes, but they're definitely huge and fat! And Oh, trust me, I made sure I watched her closely to see if she had any problems with it. It took her a little bit, but she successfully swallowed it after about 10 seconds. XD

I also like how they'll tell you when they're full. She seems so uninterested in my presence afterward. XD So full of personality.

Awww that's cause she's fat and happy after a good meal like that... they can be quite self centered lil boogers can't they? I got mines, now GO AWAY :p I'm sure after a couple feedings on the larger prey she'll have it down to a science :main_yes: also don't be too worried if she doesn't eat tomorrow... after a meal like that she may not need to. How old is she plz?

She definitely is all about herself! ;P She's 7 months old. :) (gah, I should have proof-read, I meant 7 not eight! >.<) And I'd be surprised if she took anymore! She'll probably be making a gigantic poop tomorrow. XD
