Hello guys,

I'm thinking about increasing my collection of geckos. I have a closet (rack style) with good measures where I can put terrariums. The terrariums made of glass is heavy to remove and replace every day, to clean, feed the geckos, etc. I am thinking in plastic cages but I'm not sure what measures ideal for adult geckos.

I saw some faunariums (Exoterra) with these measures:
46x30x17cm (18"x12"x6 1/2")

Will be enough to keep a gecko (individual) adult?

Some breeders say I should get a bigger space but others say it is a good measure (only 1 gecko) and that is enough (they keep in their smaller without any problems for several years now). This measure was the biggest I could find (clear glass) because I do not intend to buy boxes with frosted glass.

Sorry for writing too much, I hope you help me.

greetings

Sorry for any error

Thanks Dinosaur!

Some people say I should get a bigger space. I do not know what to do.

More opinions please.

I keep most of my adults in 15qt tubs that are about 15x10x6 inches. Those that are over 80g get bigger boot boxes that are about 22x15x6 inches and they have a LOT of space in those. The exoterra you're describing sounds like it's in between these sizes so it should be okay IMO for all but super giant geckos that are 120g+.

All that really matters for a leopard gecko is the floor space. As long as the floor space is adequate, they'll be fine! Everyone has a slightly different opinion on how much space is actually needed, but it sounds fine to me too.
