size of geckos tail

wondering if my geckos tail should look fatter. i think its abou 4 months old, possibly a little younger. and it weighs 24g. not sure of the sex yet.

It could gain a little weight, but it definitely does not look skinny, at least from this angle for around 4 months old, it looks pretty good. How often are you feeding it, how much, and how often?

at the moment it weighs 24g. usually puts on 1-2 grams a week. it gets fed once a night at around 8pm. usually about 8-10 small crickets dusted with calcium powder. ive had it just over 5 weeks. its eaten just about every night since ive bought it. only night it didnt eat was when it was shedding

it usually eats them all, but wont touch anymore i put in

Thats perfectly fine.The only thing that alarms me is you didnt mention calcium with D3 and vitamins.I use the all in one supplement calcium plus it a all in one formula

Like roger said, find some calcium powder and before you feed it crickets, dust them with the power; just throw some in a bag and shake it up a little also, get a little bottle cap or something and fill it with calcium powder and leave in in your lizards tank. it may or may not lick from it every once in a while, but its good to have if it ever decides it needs more calcium

the crickets, roaches ect are dusted every night. i use the D3 usually 2x a week as ive read too much is bad for them.

it went on a feeding frenzy the other day and ate 32 live food items

5 small crickets
15 small dubia roaches
12 medium dubia roaches

Mine has days like that. She generally eats 5-8 prey items a day, but every now and again I'll see her stalking around like a mad thing and she'll eat pretty much anything she's offered.
