So my leo shed a few days ago and i've noticed she has a little piece of skin that has gotten stuck on her eyeball. I've dealt with her having trouble shedding in the past and using warm water and patience to fix it for her, but I have no idea what to do in this scenario! Should I just wait for her somehow to fix it herself? That's why i've waited a few days before I posted hoping she could deal with it. But now im worried about irritation and/or infection.

Here is a picture so you can get and idea of what we are dealing with

A gecko sauna treatment will help loosen up any stuck shed, eyes included. In case you've never done one, you just put the gecko in a container with some damp paper towels. Having the container kept warm (like sitting it over his heat pad) will help. Just make sure there's a little ventilation left. Do this for 15 minutes or so.

Then, you can try a wet cotton swab to gently rub over the eye. If the skin loosens up and slides off, great, but don't pull it.

Some folks have also used pure saline eye drops to moisten the eyes and help loosen up the old skin.
