I have two house geckos. Recently, my friend found a juvinel blue-tailed skink at our work it is missing half its tail and seems to be in pretty good shape other than the tail. So I was wondering should i put the skink in with the two house geckos I have now? would this in anyway be a bad idea?:main_hu:help: h:

1. the skink might make your geckos sick or vice versa

2. the two species might fight, compete with each other for food, or otherwise hurt each other

3. the two species have very different environmental requirements and it
would be difficult to meet them both in a single tank

4. NEVER put a wild caught ANYTHING in immediately with domestic animals because they are usually loaded with parasites and may have other health problems as well. The skink would need to be quarantined, dewormed, etc. away from all your other reptiles even if he was getting a personal condo.

No problem. If you want to keep the skink and it's legal in your area, just get a new tank and keep him quarantined for at least 6 weeks. Be careful though, 5-lined skinks (that's what the juvie skink is) can bite really hard and don't generally tame in too well from what I've heard. They are very pretty though, especially as babies!
