Alright, so when my neighbor went off to college I inherited his two Uros. According to him they are a male and female, the male an egyptian and the female a mali, Bonny and Clyde. I have suspicions that Bonny may be a male, but that's not the issue. They get along perfectly and I've never seen any signs of aggression between them. The problem that I'm having is that Clyde just seems a little thin to me. Not anything dangerous, just a bit scrawny. He has a normal activity level and is completely healthy. Bonny on the other hand loves food, especially green beans, and is a bit of a pudgester. I was wondering if anyone knew how to maybe entice Clyde to eat a bit more.

I would say try him on a few waxies and offer him some squash, lentils, split peas and (believe it or not) bird seed. That seemed to have helped my most reluctant eaters.

Oh my!! That is a difference, isn't it!
Now, I know Malis are normally stocky little porkers like that. Could Egyptians just have a smaller frame maybe? (My ornate has a different body frame than my Mali, thats why I'm asking)
Another thing to think about is maybe a dose of dewormer, just to be sure.
Do they eat in the same enclosure? She wouldn't be bullying him, right?

They eat in the same enclosure but she doesn't bully at all, she adores him. She is a bit older than him. If you offer her a green-bean she will take it quite happily, but he doesn't show any interest when directly offered a variety of foods.

Those BOTH seem to be Malis. The one on the left is probably a male. The one on the right is probably a female.

Egyptians do have a different body type, but not like that.

I would have to agree that they are both Malis because I have seen both colors of these at work. As it was metioned earlier bird seed is good try canary/finch that is what we use at work it helps there digestion.
