Slate or Vinyl Tiles

Ok so I am getting ready to upgrade my tank from repti carpet to either slate or vinyl tiles. What is your experience with these? Which do you prefer and why?

I use natural slate with hermit crab sand underneath it. No grout or sealant or anything. I get an awesome temp gradient with just a UTH and it's super easy to clean. I just pop out her poop tile or whatever tiles need to be cleaned, scrub them with a toothbrush and diluted Dawn dish soap, rinse with hot water and put back in. Plus it looks really nice and natural. My girl LOVES it.

I use slate because it looks nicer, holds up better, and conducts heat WAY better!

I've been using ceramic tiles in one of my tanks, and about to upgrade my others soon bc my leo appears to love it and I leave one corner without a tile and add some sand in just to change it up a little
