i have a 6-7 mo. possibly female leo that is sleeping alot i mean i know that they are nocturnal but she is sleep in her hide all night to. im in my reptile room alot all night and never see her come out i check on her sometimes and she is still alive and her tail is still nice and fat. but im worried because i have to take her out the hideto feed her other wise the insects just be in there in the morning. her appetite has never been great but she ate. now she ignores everything except wax worms and butterworms( i dust bi-daily with calcium and vitamins) and i need your advice, any advice would help. btw she is in a 15 gal with a regular hide, a moist hide, a water dish, a calcium bowl, and a logs and slate rocks to create a basking spot and a 65 watt. blue heat lamp!

My leo is sleeping almost all day today, I just got him so he is
probably stressed out a lil bit. His temps are 91hot side 80 cool side. He is just sitting in his humid hide sound asleep at 1;30 in the morning. He came out about 11pm and took a dump then went back in his hide..

I leaned the hard way and put a UTH in one corner ( sideways so I could move the Warm hide some, either directly over or part way) The only reason I see to use Heat Bulbs is to raise the Air Temp...... but you are covered at 75.

Not my area...... but maybe post your humidity? That has come up before.

My Leo has been sleeping since about 11pm he is active during the day and tends to sleep at night, like he is a person or something lol. He had a tough day tho he had a shed today so maybe he is just tired.

He slept most of the day yesterday too. I'm sure tho if I was a lizard and didn't have anything to do all day I'd probably be sleeping to lol..

I just looked in his tank and he left his warm hide and went to the cool hide and he is sleeping in it now. He's been asleep for a good couple hours now.
So much for being nocturnal huh? I think me and him have our schedules mixed up, I'm awake and he's asleep..

leo's to me are a bit like an enzyme, the work best at a certain temperature, but if its too cold or too warm they barely work at all, even if its just slightly off! you need to be checking the temp, if it fluctuates either way it can cause problems. an uth would be a good idea either way, it will be a heat source for her aswell as helping her to digest food better if she lays on it! which in the long run may help her pick up better eating habbits! :)
