I can say I have never done that, I have cats and dogs running around the house and anytime I get one of mine out they are on top of me wanting to sniff and look at it.

I trust my dogs/cats as long as I am there to watch them, my big boy cat has a thing for birds lately lol..So I know if he had the chance he would have a gecko snack, and I would have to skin my cat.

I've come close to passing out at 3:30am while washing tubs & dishes, but that's about it.

I haven't either. Usually, I just let a gecko crawl up my shoulder, then we'll walk around in the gecko room for some "site seeing", then I'll put it back in its tank. That's all we do at "playtime". :p
