Slurry questions

Hey I am trying out the slurry recipe for the first time and I had a couple questions.
Can you use the slurry fresh or do you have to freeze and then thaw?
Also do you have to thaw in the fridge? Can it just thaw out using room temp or microwave?

You can use the slurry without freezing it, but the recipe makes quite a bit so freezing the cubes allows you to keep it fresh and only thaw out one cube at a time. I usually thaw out the cubes in the refrigerator overnight, or let the container sit in lukewarm water for a half hour or so. If you put it in the microwave, the stuff will cook.

ok yeah that makes sense. I just made a batch a couple hours ago... made 1.5 ice cube trays
I might just pull some out now and try it then
