Small hatchling

This guy hatched out yesterday. This one is way smaller than our typical hatches . Haven't weighed it yet. Incubation time frame 44-52 days temps 82-84 via digital probe.

With the almost solid black coloration...is this a sign of being premature? Dad is a Tremper Albino and Mom is not sure high yellow / normal.

Hmmm very interesting baby to get from that combo, I guess it'll be a REALLY dark normal 100% het. for albino. I hope it gains some weight for you, definitely post an update once you weigh him!!!

Indeed an odd baby from the combo of the parents. It's kind of odd, past few hatches have been darker babies like this one, although this little one takes the cake so far for being dark. Still have around 8 eggs due to hatch within the next month. It will be interesting if this darkness continues.
