Hello everyone!
My name is Dave, and I help operate Small Pet Feeders along with my family. We provide high quality feeder insects and frozen rodents for the reptile, amphibian, invert, aquarium, or even bird hobbyist communities.
We carry everything from crickets and superworms, to silkworms and hornworms.

Terms and Conditions of Use
All insect counts are measured by weight.
We weigh every single insect in our store, to expedite insect counting. If a product is a mix of sizes, the weights of each size per 100 are averaged to find the actual weight of the mixed cup. If an overcount is advertised on the product, we then take this number and multiply it by the overcount percentage, then adding the overcount weight in addition to the average weight per 100.

All live insects are shipped Monday through Wednesday, and occasionally Thursday.
This is to ensure that your package gets to you by Friday. If your package requires Fedex Saturday Delivery, a small surcharge will be charged upon this determination by Fedex and passed down to the client (you) through a Paypal invoice. If this is the case, you will be contacted through email by a SPF representative.
All packages for the next possible shipping day must be in by 8 PM Eastern the previous day to allow our staff adequate preparation time.
Many of our products require time to prepare to order, and can't be rushed or the quality of your item might suffer. We do our best to make sure all items are shipped on time the following day, but we are still a small business and holdups do happen. Please understand that your order is even more precious for us in this beginning stage of our development, and we work consistently to make sure our client's expectations are exceeded and work with the hope you'll come back to us soon. If your package is going to be delayed for longer than a day or two, we will contact you with the circumstances and promise to keep you well informed should these issues arise.
All live shipments are subject to be held at a Fedex Office in extreme weather conditions to guarentee live delivery.
If your temperatures are above 80 degrees, or below 40 degrees Farenheit, we may ask you to pick your package up at your nearest Fedex location, usually within 10 miles of your location but we can't promise as we don't know for sure, but we'd say 90% of the time this is the case.
In the case of a Dead on Arrival shipment, store credit will be given after all SPF DOA Procedures are followed.
Should your order arrive dead or partially dead, you will be given store credit for the amount of the items. Full cash refunds are not possible at any point, as shipment and manufacturing of your items are costs which Small Pet Feeders can not absorb. If you give us a chance to serve you, and the weather interupts the quality of our service, please give us the reasonable chance to make it right by sending your DOA products with your next order with us. If you'd like your order sent out immediately, the shipping charge must be covered by the buyer.
To receive store credit for an order that was Dead on Arrival, pictures may be required from the recipient within 4 hours of receiving the package, and must be received by a person on the first attempt.
Many of the insects sold by us are time sensitive while in their boxed enviroments, and can't afford to be refused because noone is home. When placing an order, please make sure someone will be home at time of delivery, or provide instructions when ordering to drop the package off elsewhere. If you can't make these arrangements, please advise us to have the package held at your local Fedex location, free of charge. If your package does not meet your expectations, please take pictures and send them to [email protected] with an explanation of the package contents.
