...Why is it that Snake Eyes are always towards the front of the eye? In other words, the black part is always closest to the nose end. Are there ever any Snake Eyes that are Snake Eyes towards the back of the eyes? Does this even exist, or is it rare, or what..?!?!

Cuz i was just in a conversation about it with a friend of mine that was just at my place, and was showin him a few of my geckos with Snake Eyes, and he asked me this question. And i was like wow, thats a good point, i'll ask n find out! lol... Cuz now that i think about it, i have never seen any of them and have never heard of them.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

I've seen some where the back part of the eye has the black instead of the front. It doesn't seem to happen as often though.

Thats crazy... so it CAN happen then... Are they equally as sought after, or no? Is this something that "should not be bred" if you get one, or no? Just curious... Or is it something that some people may try to achieve thru "selective breeding" or what? lol

So if someone were to ever hatch one out, would it be "highly sought after" or would people not want to buy it, cuz it's a "deformity"?

And no, this doesn't mean i'm tryin to breed one! lmao... give me a break. I'm just curious cuz never even seen one or heard of them.

I think it's more of a random thing. I'm not sure there are any others out there like Paul's, though. In the case of Paul's, if that gecko can see, and live out a normal happy life, I see no reason not to breed her.
