So confused about temp!

I'm so confused on what temp to have my tank! I've read from anywhere between 80-95 on the warm side...and 62-75 on the cool side! It's so confusing since so many people have different opinions lol. Is there a medium I shoud be at between those temps? Like 70 on the cool side and 85 on the warm side? Ahhhhhhhh *runs and hides* :help:

I do 92-94 on the hot side and 84-86 on the cool side. You want to have the hot side at least a constant 90 degrees and I don't think the cool side should go below 80.

A agree on the warm side - at least 90, but I keep mine at around 92-93. As far as the cool side goes, I just keep mine at room temp and that seems to be just fine. My house is always around 72 - 74. I wouldn't want to go lower than 70.

My warm side is 93 most of the time, sometimes it goes 1 or 2 higher and cool side has never dipped below 74.

Problem is chances are you've been getting your information from 'caresheets' you always better off actully finding a breeder and picking their brain than going by what a petshop feels is correct Or find a breeders website and use the caresheet they offer I havent heard any breeder say that they think the warm side should be below 90
