My gecko bred last year, laid two eggs, they were duds, she never laid again last year.
This year she laid 2 eggs in her vermiculite last Saturday. I assume it was last Saturday because I didn't see the vermiculite moved around until last Saturday. Today, I found one egg laying by her hide, not in the substrate and it was really soft. I dont know how long it had been since she'd laid it. So I have kinda three questions. How long is it usually between 2 clutches? I've always heard 2-4 weeks, this was like 5 days. Will a soft egg be ok? I put it in the incubator. And also, this is mostly a rhetorical question, but why would she lay out of the substrate when she has nice, warm, moist vermiculite to lay in?
