Soft eggs?

My female SHTCT was a virgin until recently and currently she is 2yrs old. I bred her, and she has laid 2 eggs, one at a time (would be counted as 2 clutches as they are 3 weeks apart).

The first was a dud. It was soft and kinda squishy - to the point where I felt uncomfortable picking it up. In my homemade incubator with hatch rite the exposed part of the egg hardened but the underside stayed pliable (I guess is the right word?). It candled yellow/green even after a few days so I tossed it.

She JUST laid her second egg (I interrupted her last bit of burying) and when I touched it, it was soft and "squishy" like a partially empty sack of liquid. I left it in the moist hide since its humid and warm enough for it for now - if its a viable egg that is.

What should I be expecting?

I incubate until there is no debate, meaning that unless the egg starts molding I keep in incubating. I've actually had a clutch of 2 eggs that were extremely soft and I thought for sure they were duds but incubated anyway. They remained soft and were questionable when candled. However, both eggs hatched fine and with healthy babies.

If you find the eggs soon after being laid they are like a wet marshmellow. Like above keep them till they are definatly bad. Depending on what temp you are incubating at the egg can take a couple weeks to start looking pink.
