I have some dried up leo eggs from last year. I was trying to find a way to "preserve them" (found it hard to do) but I noticed that when even a totally dry egg shell was put in the water it became soft again, just like a freshly laid egg. This got me thinking. There are a few posts were people accidentaly tear the eggs beacuse they were laid and attached to the lay box bottom, etc. My idea is this, cut a square out of an old egg shell (washed) and get it wet, then stick this over the tear. It should dry, and stick right on. Whats better at immitating an egg shell than an actual egg shell right? I am wondering what you guys think of this. Note that it has yet to be tested out. I figured some people may find this interesting.
