not sure if this is covered anywhere else. I did a search and couldn't find the answer.
I have never bred before so figures i've got some problems.
I have one gecko who has layed 6 eggs. so far the first 4 have been collapsed/ bad/infertile eggs. This morning she layed 2 more but they are very soft, watery even. What does that mean?
ALSO, my other gecko layed 2 very good eggs almost a month ago. Everything was fine for a while then i got a small dent so i put some moist paper towel over it, it plumped back up and everything was fine. after about a week or so they look fuzzy like mold is growing on them? One is starting to dent up again and the other looks like very tiny little cracks are happening throughout it and i can see bits of red, almost like blood inside the egg ( the cracks arnt veins ).
What can i do? I'm using vermiculite, should i switch to perlite?
