Aw Eve those are lovely. I wish Eros was more of a come out and play kinda fella, but he is super shy it seems and is always in his hide (or heads for his hide as soon as you walk into the room) :( I feel a little robbed in that aspect.

Awe, you did get robbed :( I have some like that, but the majority of them here me stirring around, and come right to the front and watch my every move, waiting for me to drop in a goodie for them, and those are all my favorites :) Sounds like You need to get another, maybe you'll get lucky :)

Eve, they are beautiful :)

Thank you, all :D:main_laugh::p

Hey Kel, my bunch are housed in a room where they see us pretty much, shades are up during the day and some even come out and sit for awhile in ( daylight, everyday) while I do my thing.

I agree with Tara, many just peek out see ya and start to hang outside the hides, probably to see what they get, or just to be nosey ....:main_yes::main_laugh: I also like the ones who peek out hidey holes, little heads/eyes watching........ heres one of those ( sorry it is not real clear, but it was so cute :main_laugh:

So do you think Eros would be better off in a room that gets more traffic? as of right now he is in a low traffic room mostly frequented by our dogs and people on their way to the bathroom.

And Tara, if/when I get another herp, for myself, it's likely to either be a barred tiger salamander or a BTS.

Hi, I guess thats debatable by some, maybe they think they should not be disturbed , but I don't see any problems with mine. But in my house they have to get used to seeing many different type creatures, lol or they aren't going to make it here, hehehehee:D:p

I love barred salamanders , so cute, was going to get one last summer but I hatched so many collared kids that I was a bit overwhelmed and did not. I also have a Blue tongue skink now for about 10 years, shes a big girl, a merauke, they are among the largest (them and northern) and her name is Chiquita, she does love her banana;s lol. Shes very Cool and sweet to me/hisses at people she does not know. Here she is....

I love your BTS! We have 2 of them and my stepson loves them more than any of the other reptiles. Both of ours are big tame babies.

Kel, I probably just had my "wishlist first" hehehhee, you'll get there.:D

Fuzzy, :main_yes: you and Lori seem to have a housefull too, lol

Aaron, thanks, Ole Cadberry is still hanging in there, he is almost 8 years old, I was told they are considered old at about 5 and some only live that long. So I guess I was lucky with him. I do however have his cage set up now for an old gentleman, he can't climb as well anymore, lost alot of grip, and his tongue is not as accurate as it once was so I hand him alot of stuff. Here is a pic from late summer/fall before this winter, I had him outside and he became vibrant orange. He's a good guy that Cadberry!
