omg... is that a gecko that it is eating... O.O :(

Hehehe, actually it's an anole. I could have gone with a house gecko but i figured the T would have a harder time catching it b/c they stick close to the walls. I did feed a House Gecko to a P.Regalis once....that was neat lol.

Hahaha, yeah they're a bit intimidating at times. The worst is that the vast majority I kept were very aggressive & had no reservations about fanging you if you got too close, those just happened to be my more preferred types lol. By far the scariest was the Usambra Baboon.....she was EVIL. Only one to ever charge at me completely, I felt like a paperboy who had just thrown one into an old ladie's window & she was running out after me lol. For such a small T they are unbelievably tempremental. Tho Cobalt's are not far behind them either.

I don't have any of them anymore but I'm actually hoping to pick up an Ornamental at the next reptile show (January, whooo!!) if it's a reasonable price. They're sooooooo beautiful.

You are a much braver soul than I, Jason. I think "scares the crap outta me" is a complete understatement. I'm terrified of the nasty big spiders we get out here on the farm...I think I would suffer a massive heart attack if any of yours ever got within 10 feet of me. I can't say I don't appreciate their (morbid?) beauty though :)

And seriously...does this thing eat little children?!?! Holy cow...

Lmao hahaha, i've heard that before. I agree, a lot are frigging scary, even to me but in the words of my exwife "I think you have some sort of deathwish" lol. I've always been interesting in things that are borderline dangerous, dunno why just am. Some of them really do warrant the fear, for example the one you are asking if it eats children was one of the most aggressive i've seen yet. She was just angry as hell, if i even breathed on her a little bit she would rear up bearing those monster fangs and started striking the ground repeatedly. Thankfully that type is an obligate burrower so can't really climb or move very fast. The same can't be said for others tho. And if you want an adrenaline rush, have one of the orange ones manage to get out of the cage & you try to catch it w/out getting fanged....it took 2 hrs for my heartrate to go down after that lol. I guess i just get some sort of sick thrill out of things like this, i would giggle whenever they got real angry & started flipping out.

LOL... You know, I always refered to my husband as "The Spider Hater." He would toss them crickets now and then, but that was it. A good friend of mine said when I got into spiders, "If he doesn't have a spider of his own within 2 years, I'll stick my head in the toilet."
Well, here it is a year later and whats Tim loking at? An Orange Bitey Thing.
We had our Cyriopagopus out a while back for a cage cleaning and she bolted on me. When we went to get her she gave a good threat stance and wasn't having any part of this human stupidity.
It is an adrenaline rush when they act up! :D

Very beautiful creatures...

Haha, that being said though... *backs away slowly*

Actually, I never knew they came in such beautiful colors. It's kind of amazing, and totally gives new meaning to "dangerous beauty" for me.

Lol they really do seem to mean that. While i find them so fascinating they still can creep me out at times. One of these days i really want to get back into them, my most wanted list is a couple Ornaments, Singapore blue & some Aussie T's (they're just evil lol).
