Here's some of my designer carrottail females after laying this season and a 3 week old baby. All females were produced by me and range in age from 1.5-3.5 years. I'm happy that the orange tail doesn't dull with age! =)

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! I've really enjoyed this project, but there is always room for improvement!

There is a mix of genetics with influences from "old school tangerine" bloodlines (mine include Bill Brant tangerines from the 90's), "Ray Hine carrottail" genetics, and red stripe/patternless striped. I've mentioned this link before, but the full story can be read below:
