I'm still working out the genetics on a couple of these guys, but I thought I would give you all a look.

For someone unsure of what he is making, you are doing a hell of a job at it. I lke them all, especially that raptor with the perfectly white tail. Nice work

Thank you. I wouldn't say that I am "not sure" what I am making, but rather that there is a hidden genetic in the pairing I am not aware of....yet. It is throwing off all of my calculations, but at this point I am fairly certain that the mother is enigma. Thank you nonetheless :)

I was drooling over the pictures before I even realized who posted them! You're going to steal all my money if you keep tempting me like this!

:D:DI was joking, I understood what you ment. Can't wait to see how that raptor turns out. I only see enigma in the tang but not an expert on them

Wanted to give everyone an update on some of the leo's. No current pic of the first one (the spotted tang enigma), she hasnt been eating well so really hasnt grown or changed at all, but she'll be fine. As for the others, here they are:

B65-3 Month.JPG
RAPTOR (Just separated her so hopefully she will start to put on some weight and fatten that tail up)

B75-2 Month.JPG
Eclipse het Tremper (She is looking good and growing like a weed)

B75-2 Month.JPG
Tremper Enigma (Think I have finally nailed down the genetics on this one, but still working on it. Her color is amazing)

B66-2 Month.JPG
Super Nova (Originally thought this was a Super RAPTOR but have started to notice some slight spinning and wobbling so the enigma is definitely in play)

Are you sure the tremper enigma has enigma? Enigma is very dominant... You'd know if it was enigma. It'd have a pure white tail... Am I right on that? That it's dominant, and you'd see it if a gecko had it? Trying to remember what I'd read about the gene after getting my sunglow enigma a couple weeks ago... But OMG THEYRE SO PRETTY AND ADORABLE and now I wanna breed geckos soooooooooo bad! I love the white nose of that eclipse! That's super adorable!

Quite honestly, I am not positive that it is an enigma, but the signs are starting to point in that direction; she "circles" whenever I go to pick her up or stress her out, she has enhanced colors and pattern. I will agree that most enigmas do have a solid white tail, but that is not always the case, and regardless her tail is "mostly" white. Because enigma is "dominant" simply means it dominates in the gene pool and you have a 50% that the gene will be in play while breeding an enigma to a non-enigma.

However, I am open to other peoples opinions, her parentage is Tang Enigma het RAPTOR x Sunglow RAPTOR. What do the rest of you think?

I know pretty little about the enigma gene myself. I know how genes operate but it been a little while since I've studied genetics and all that dominant and recessive stuff lol. I just know that the enigmas I've seen around have the white tails as hatchlings, as does mine. I am curious to know about this though, because I saw a hatchling for sale at an expo yesterday that was labeled as a tang enigma but it also didn't have the white tail, it had pretty distinctive black on the tail. Somewhat aberrant black it seemed too, from my observations. It was also quite dark in color, and I know enigma generally brightens color. It certainly seems to with the ones I've seen. Perhaps it was just a bit cold and would brighten up with heat, but the others on the table didn't seem so dark, so I'm confused! Lol
