So I'm getting readdy to put my males and females together but am not sure how I should do it. I only have 15qts in my rack ,I do have like 2 sweater boxes but without heat. How should I put them together? and should I only leave them together for about 24 hours after I know the got down to business?? I was thinking either put the male in the females 15 qt for the night and let them do their thing, or put both in a 32qt and leave them in there for the night. Help would be appreciated

Although the action may happen as soon as they're introduced... If you see them mate you should remove the male after his junk is back in place... Otherwise you might find one of them beat up the next day or male with a prolapse from going bonkers... The latter is less likely...

I think it is better to not move the female. I try to put as little stress on the leos, but even more so with the females. I would put the male in with the female. After the female lays, I like to reenter the male to her to get the best hatching rate. If they are first year females, I introduce the male to them a little more often, but for only a few hours instead of 24. Hope you do weel
