Im pretty brand new to this so I was wondering about a few things...
1)I read somewhere that red and "black" lights can be harmful to geckos eyes....has anyone else heard this? Cause I wanna put a red light up for heat( there is some kind of double layer on the bottom that would prevent an under-tank heater from working properly) and to be able to view them at night.
2)Whats with the digging? My new leo has been trying to dig like crazy in his tank. Could it be too hot and hes trying to find a cooler place to sleep?
3)Both my geckos are pretty new and both seem pretty anxious when Ive held them.I gave them each a few days before I even attempted to pick them up but they both are figgety.Is this from not being held while they were living at the pet stores? Am I trying too soon? If it continues,will this stress them out?
