You may remember a couple weeks ago I posted a few videos of Amelia having a rough time shedding because of her inability to judge where things are (the shed on the back of neck, in that case). She shed again, shortly after, about a week ago. It's getting colder, so I really haven't seen her much since then. She ate her shed, then chilled in her cave and digested for a few days, and then only came out late at night to cruze around after I'd gone to bed.
She finally come out and to my surprise, she's finally started to develop actual Dreamsicle coloring! She's got yellow coming in on her sides and head, and the blue over top her eyes seems to be coming back out. She'd gone so long with out a change that I figured she was done, but I'm super excited to see new coloring
A few months ago:
Tonight. It's hard to see, but it's coming through the brown on her side. You can see how bright it really well on her head in this first pic, and on her side in the last-- that nice highlighter yellow. The brown hides it in most of the pics lol I'm wondering if it will become less transparent as it develops?
