Now after having this beauty for a good month or so I was able to take some more pics of the behaviour. Sadly I haven´t found him burring and wasn´t able to take a video yet but I´m waiting

Is a horny toad the same thing as a short horned lizard or is it a fence lizard? My boyfriend finds "horny toads" outside all the time and wants to keep one but I keep telling him no because aren't short horned lizards the ones that shoot blood from their eye?? I might could deal with a fence lizard but I don't think I could deal with a blood spurting reptile lol.
