Hello everyone another question.

So today I got some crickets for my three girls and wanted to feed them so I chased them out of their hides to put some crickets in for them, well....

I looked at my one female sherbet and on her nose it looked liked she still had some left over shed, taking a closer look it appeared to me that something was like eating at her nose area or something I dont know : /

It was red and kinda craterish, I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them.
But does anyone have any idea of what it might be? or what I should do?

make sure there are never any uneaten live food items in the cage overnight. where i work we have lost a few reptiles to crickets, they chew the poor things up. you can put some neosporin on it for now until you can get to a vet, if you so chose.

It looks like a shed wound to me. Sometimes, when they are shedding, there are areas where the next layer of skin does not release the old, making it harder to pull off. It looks like she was having issues shedding that area as it is, she may have just pulled off layers of new skin with her old she was trying to get rid of.

I don't think that warrants a vet visit yet, but definitely keep an eye on it. I would help her shed the rest of that on her nose too...take a moist Q-tip and gently work at it. That area needs to be clean to heal properly :)
