Something weird in my females belly.

Alright so one of my females has had eggs for a couple of weeks but infertile since i've never paired her up with any males but now that i check under her belly i see something that looks like a green blueish oval around the center of her stomach between the eggs and it looks pretty big, about half the size of an egg. Can anyone tell me what this could be?

Ok she laid her two eggs in the hide i guess she needed somewhere to dig? although when i found the eggs there were just kicked around the container like soccer balls. Good thing is i don't see her liver anymore so we're good but bad news is the eggs felt like water balloons so i threw em out lol. Thanks a lot Marcia.

Did you cut them open or freeze them first?

Glad she laid her eggs! Sometimes freshly laid eggs can feel like water balloons before the air has time to harden the shell to a leathery consistency. Infertile eggs will be limp and very thin-shelled. When in doubt, go ahead and incubate. If they are fertile they'll firm up, if infertile, they'll fail in the first 10 days.

i didn't mean it was positioned under the moss in a weird way but w/e she was never with a male so it wouldn't be fertile especially with a water ballon egg.

No need to freeze or incubate if she has never been introduced with a male anyway. Unless you just got her an possibly she could have been with a male before you had her.
