something wierd on privates?

Hi everyone I have noticed the past 2 days my 4 month old male Leo has been licking his area (I don't know what to call it if you can help with that) and today a mucus looking substance was coming out and he licked and ate it. Does anyone know what this is? Is he OK??

I would call their private area the vent area or the cloaca. I would assume your guy is growing up and taking care of a normal natural need (cough cough) but would keep an eye on him to make sure nothing else is strange or changes in his behavior just in case it's something more sinister.

Oh my lol that was my first thought but I thought he was still a baby. Do all males do that?
